There are different levels of articles on Wikipedia based on the amount and quality of information presented. For example, there are "stub" articles which do not contain enough information to be useful, and are listed on the Wikipedia site for people to edit and add to. So, I was searching through a few of these "stubs" and came across one on Byrne Dairy company. It only contained a few sentences, and when dealing with a company, I figured there had to be more information that could be posted! I did a little more research and came up with this brand new Wiki article on Byrne Dairy.
My article on Byrne Dairy is just one of the many "stubs" that require editing on Wikipedia! If your feeling creative and willing to contribute to the Wiki articles that many of us Google daily, you can find a "stub" here. But remember, when writing a Wiki article it is important not to let your personal opinion or experiences influence your article, and most importantly be sure to use reputable sources...there will be people using these articles after all! If you visit our class blog you can find the tips you will need for Wiki writing. So my fellow bloggers, let's get the creative juices flowing and follow the lead of my ALES204 classmates such as Lauren, and get editing!
